This COP teaches workers about hazards related to specific work sites and for working for specific companies. It also includes rules and policies related to oil and gas leases and forestry. Some of the topics covered are heat and cold exposure, hand signals, access to work areas, restricted areas and workplace conduct.

This code of practice is about worksites. Each different type of worksite has its own set of rules. Many of our codes of practice deal with these rules and are contained in greater detail with in the code of practice pertaining to that particular type of worksite. Certain worksites have hazards and controls that are site specific such as:

1. oilfield leases
2. work within towns
3. work on the roadways
4. private property
5. publicly owned property

This Worksite COP deals with a variety of worksite:
